Media - social, international, national, local, everything... it's buzzing with nothing more than the coronavirus pandemic.
It's a worrying time, because of lots of different factors - shortages of medical supplies, household necessities, childcare and exam implication, finances to name but a few - but for those of us with children on the spectrum, or with sensory processing difficulties and other additional needs, there's another layer of concern.
One of which is maintaining good hygiene practices. Many of us already spend a lot of time trying our best to foster independence in this area, but often our children still rely on us for prompting, encouragement and guidance right.
To alleviate some pressure, here's a round-up of some of the best visual resources I have found which - at the time of writing (15/03/2020) - are all freely downloadable. Be sure to thank creators if you use something.
If you are a creator and have something [free] that you think would help out fellow autism families at this time then please get in touch and I will he happy to add your resource - and link - to the gallery.
You should be able to link to and read about each resource by chosing them in the gallery, but just in case it doesn't load properly on the phone...

Hello Autism Resources
Weekly visual calendar. Help your child with independence skills across the board during what could be a hard time for them to adapt and transition. School closures and changes to regular activities can be exceptionally stressful to our children. So now may be the time for you to start/restart promoting general wellbeing through the comfort that is a clear visual schedule.
