Reading a book is the perfect support to educating your child. Try these free printable Adjective and Noun supports to help your child identify nouns and adjectives in the text they are reading or listening to. Verbs and Adverbs will be posted in a day or so. GET YOUR PRINTABLES HERE.
The Kid's Reading Challenge is a group challenge for Parents to help encourage their children to read and to get as much as we can out of Children's Books by sharing ideas, resources, reviews and information. At present, using DaisyTrail (Thanks!) I have created the following selection of printables to help you engage your child, and keep track, of the challenge. Your child will be able to use the Challenge Tracker to see where they are up to and when they have completed one of the challenges (reading for ten minutes...in the car, for example) it can be crossed off and then they may choose another to complete. You may want to reward your child for completing the challenge, or completing a "line" like in Bingo with a new book, a trip or anything else... that's entirely up to you.

Please share your ideas for new challenge sheets on this post or on the Good Reads page.
As an added incentive, we will be having monthly giveaways. To be a part of this, all you need to do is have your child review a favourite story or author - this could be in writing or in picture format (so all ages can join in ) and a winner will be selected. I will make sure you know when we open the first competition.
